Kathy Mercer Gray

Kathy Mercer Gray is a Polk County native who utilizes her 25 years of legal experience and college education to offer her customers the latest marketing business strategies. Kathy also has a background with horses which allows her to better assist the needs and desires of her equestrian clients. She began working part-time for a general practice law firm during her senior year at Winter Haven Senior High School. After graduating high school, Kathy continued to work full-time for the general practice law firm preparing residential real estate closings and title policies as she obtained her legal secretarial degree from Polk Community College. She also obtained her notary public commission. Thereafter, Kathy and Don Gray, Jr. married and moved to Orlando for seven (7) years. Kathy continued to work full-time in the real estate field by assisting in preparing commercial real estate closings and mortgage foreclosures in downtown Orlando. She obtained her paralegal and AA degrees from Valencia Community College. While working on her paralegal degree, Kathy learned about investing in tax certificates from her real estate instructor/Seminole County Judge. Shortly thereafter, Kathy and Don, Jr. began investing in property tax certificates in Orlando and continue to do so today in Polk County. They have also acquired and manage a couple of commercial rental properties.
